"Skeptical Theism: Avoiding Too Much Skepticism"
In this 60 minute interview on the Analytic Christian channel, I discuss the problem of evil and the response to it known as skeptical theism. Unlike typical skeptical theists, I endorse "positive skeptical theism," which provides second-order reasons that justify one's belief in skeptical theism. This framework, I maintain, has significant theoretical advantages that avoids radical skeptical consequences that may accompany other approaches to skeptical theism. In this talk, I present how my "positive skeptical theism" avoids the damaging consequences to natural theology that are incurred from standard approaches to skeptical theism (which I call "negative skeptical theism").
